This Privacy Policy describes how EasyEats Co. ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the EasyEats mobile application (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

We collect the following types of information:

• Account information: email address, display name, and profile details you provide when signing up
• Authentication data: when you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive a token confirming your identity but do not store your Google or Apple password
• Phone number: if you choose to verify your phone number for added account security
• Dietary preferences and goals: information you enter about your dietary restrictions, allergies, and health goals
• Recipe and cooking data: recipes you extract, save, modify, or cook within the App
• Device and usage data: basic information about how you use the App, including device type, operating system, and app version, used to improve performance

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and personalize the App experience, including AI recipe modifications based on your dietary goals
• Authenticate your account and maintain security
• Deliver the features you use, including recipe extraction, saved recipes, and cooking history
• Send you important account and service notifications
• Improve the App over time based on aggregated usage patterns

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud infrastructure provider. All data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS. We implement industry-standard security practices to protect your information, though no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.

The App uses the following third-party services, each of which has its own privacy policy:

• Supabase: database, authentication, and backend infrastructure
• Google Sign-In and Apple Sign-In: optional authentication methods
• YouTube API: used to search for and retrieve video transcripts for recipe extraction
• Google Gemini AI: used to process video transcripts and generate recipe modifications

When you use YouTube video links, content is processed in accordance with YouTube's Terms of Service. Recipes are extracted from publicly available video captions and attributed to the original creator.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal purposes.

You have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. You can manage your account and preferences within the App. To request deletion of your account and associated data, contact us at legal@easyeats.cc.

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, contact us immediately at legal@easyeats.cc.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the effective date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
